Unless you are dead set in off roading or color matched hardtop and flares. Everything over sport is just added packages and shite like that. It all depends on you and what you want and are gonna do with it

They hold their resale value VERY well btw.

So you don't save as much buying used as you would with other vehicles. And they don't offer much in incentives when buying new cause the vehicle sells itself...they don't have to.

I think the Wrangler's look a little plain. That's why I was asking about the other styles. I have a daughter so I would guess I would go for the 4D if I were to get one. And I'm okay with spending a little more to get what I want, as far as "looks" go.

My husband still has his hardtop off his. He wants a bikini top for it. If it's raining or too cold now he leaves his in the garage and just takes my old maxima.

I haven't taken the top off mine yet Maybe I'll take the freedom panels off sometime.

they don't make an X in the unlimited. they make a Rubicon X wich is the same as last years Rubicon 10th anniversary. which is nicer than all of them unless you hate the color red.

we went down to league city to pick up another wrangler for my daughter. it was a used 2004 wrangler unlimited. these are not the 4 door versions you see today. i let my wife drive my rubicon 10Ann home and i drove my daughter's. way better ride in the older one.

i love my jeep but it's by far the worst driving experience i've ever had on interstate with any jeep i've ever owned. softer suspension-wise but seems to want to wander and track badly at higher speeds.

hopefully when i get my new suspension and lift, it will improve.

Well that is the best thing about a Jeep is that there is so much you can do aftermarket with it.

Also...what other SUV type vehicle can you take the roof and doors off with ease?

If you're okay with spending the money. I'd get on wrangler forum and read up. But really research the packages and what it is you ultimately want. If you don't see what you want on the lot or near you. Order what you want. Seriously, order exactly what you want.

All are the exact same body style, Rubicon and Sahara are nicer inside and not quite as rugged. Sahara had painted fenders that help with the fading issue. Sahara's also come with 18"rims which are expensive to reskin when the time comes.

You can get leather now...actually jealous of this.

You are mistaken.

they make a Rubicon X

again, I believe you are mistaken, unless they have changed very recently

I thought X was the same as Sport. Just a different year.

Both their base package.

you can improve, but it takes some quality components, which most people dont purchase, and needs to be dialed in correctly .

Mine rides better then factory now

Agreed, I test drove several Unlimited X's before I bought my Sahara.

Yeah my Sahara has the really nice navigation in it and remote start(which I really love). Mine is basically "fully loaded" for an Unlimited(except I don't have leather seats).
