To people in the store? Like you think people stay close to each other and open their mouths while talking to each other in the store? Or do you think they just pass by people in the store? If its the last one, and you know it is, you arent going to catch covid that way, its going to be standing close to someone for a few minutes or longer and talking, yelling, singing, exhaling

Stores arent remotely close to the risk that bars are

Blame the fricking Republicans that voted for him (or stayed hom and didn't vote for Rispone).
Rispone was a tepid Turd Po-Boy.

He may have been worse for the State (in general) than than Boucher Sr has been.

Abysmal choice and candidate, the LA Repugnican Party “leadership” responsible for him being able to represent the party should all submit their resignations.

Trying to beat folks up about not going to vote for him is dum.

Anything about protesters/rioters gathering in groups without masks? Asking for a friend.

Drag him out of the capital building, tar and feather his worthless arse and then ride him out on a rail.

if he's so god damn smart, and "knows" how bad bars, and younger people are at spreading this thing

.....how can he "know" that all of these fricking riots and protests arent the cause???

what a piece of shite, how convenient to blame "younger people"

JBE is correct here. Take your partisan glasses off and understand where we are. It is not about stopping the spread but slowing it down. Texas and Florida say hello with their population too.

If anyone ask why why people aren’t wearing mask. Just yell BLM. Nothing will happen and you’ll be left alone.

They need to grow a spine and fire a shot back at the state! Enough of this madness! Come out your hiding spot, o wait go back! Come on man! This virus has a 99% survival rate. All we are doing is delaying majority reaching herd immunity.

I wonder how many at risk people will die from the heat when they can’t pay their electric bill?

They moved those goalposts about four months ago. Remember "flatten the curve"? Yeah, I do too. That little fad came and went. It became "zero cases and a vaccine" faster than a cat can lick its arse.

What does this have to do with Louisiana's issue?

There is no doubt that protest have caused the spread to increase. The way this is going you are not going to see school return. It is obvious that this is a very contagious virus. While most will not get very sick some will get very sick and die. Wear the damn mask and socially distance. It is not that hard to do.

You do realize that they are slinging out tests right and left? They weren't doing that a month ago. They are giving 4,000 tests a day in the Baton Rouge area alone. You drive up to a site, don't even get out your car, and get tested. That's why there is a huge jump. This thing has always been here. It's not like all of a sudden something happened. It's just that so many more people are getting tested right now that a month ago wouldn't have gotten tested therefore didn't know they had it (because of little to no symptoms).

So what happens when numbers go back down, we reopen things again?

Same fricking situation.

The virus is here and it isn’t going anywhere. We supposed to live like this the rest of our lives or at least until Nov 5th I’d assume?

The number of hospitalizations and death rates are starting to go back up. That is the problem. Yes, eventually most people will catch this shite. We just cannot have it where we need make shift hospitals.
