Cause if greater than 60% were staying home, the numbers would show some positive benefit. Its kinda simple.

Fun fact. Humans will never all stay in their homes for weeks.

And countries that have had stricter regs than ours are still having spikes, several with worse results than us. You will not make this virus go away by hiding form it. Anyone with a functioning brain should be able to see that,

Ok. And if you apply this fun fact to the topic, you would know no one is staying home.

Yikes, your fun fact would still apply. Or is that just a US fun fact, a Louisiana fun fact. But you did say humans.

The problem with saying that "staying at home works", is that while in theory you are correct, in practical use, nothing could be farther from reality.

If everyone stayed home, "just for 14 days", did not leave their abode for any reason, current case numbers would plummet, but even then, it wouldn't be eradicated. See New Zealand.

However, in real life, people leave their homes for many reasons - "essential" work, food, non-covid medical care, prescriptions, etc., as well as "non-essential" work (because they can), home improvement shopping & projects, visiting family, finding the elusive toilet paper, etc.

The reality is that "stay at home" orders result in zero actual impact because we do not live in a theoretical world.

I could probably easily limit my out of home interactions by over half if I chose to, as could most. I am not. I am sure others will not as well. But if we did, it would reduce exposures and cases, it is just common sense.

I have weighed the risk for me and mine and made my choice. But in cases where I have to decide if it is prudent to take my kids to my parents for Thanksgiving, it hits home a bit harder. If numbers were on their way down, I would be more comfortable in my decision.

Which is your absolute right, and what EVERYONE should be free to decide for themselves. While you are considering whether or not it is prudent for your kids to see their grandparents, the choice shouldn't be yours or your kids. It should be your parents. They are the ones that should choose whether or not seeing the grandkids is worth the risk.

You cannot be this obtuse - the majority of covid cases came from people staying home, people who did not stay home made up fewer cases. Not staying home had better results.

What was the make up of people staying home versus those going out. Raw numbers are fine. Or percentages.

Unless there were very few people not staying home. I will await your numbers.

If you're scared YOU stay home. Meanwhile, leave me the fk alone.

SIGN THE DAMNED RECALL JBE PETITION.

Look on facebook for Recall John Bel Edwards Statewide.

From there, find where you can sign in your parish.

I know Louisiana has more than 600K Republicans living here.

Sign it and get the dicktator out of office.
