Fall is a better time for it anyway.

JazzFest better concentrate on getting Louisiana musicians to play this year because our musicians will be particularly hurt. Screw the national acts.

Fairgrounds has a quarterhorse meet from August through mid September, then they have to prepare for the main meet starting on Thanksgiving. Leaves a limited window. And of course there's hurricane season.

Saturdays and Sundays during football season. Brilliant. They might as well just cancel it.

It takes almost 3 weeks to set up for Jazz Fest and another 2 weeks to tear down.

Then there’s the repairs to the grounds.

I don’t see this happening.

I don’t see the point of the rush required to have it in the fall when by that time you’re just prepping for the next one in the spring. Cancel it and have one that’s actually good in April 2021. Jazzfest has become stagnant and needs a reset anyways.

I'd much fricking rather go to JazzFest in Fall weather. shite, I might buy tickets now. That heat, combined with the crowd, is miserable to me.
