My great uncle was an expert of living and doing business in Japan. Because he embraced their culture, he never had any issues as a gaijin in Japan. When my son was in the Marines, he could go to some places where gaijin were generally not welcome - again, it was because he adjusted to the culture.

I was in Tokyo for a week this past summer. Lots of things to like. Food was great, people were nice, they’re English isn’t that great. Everything is very clean, no gun crime, and there is very little crime at all.
Can’t say it’s the best country I’ve visited.

I like Singapore better than Tokyo. The draw back on Singapore is that it’s like Louisiana hot all the time. If you are outside you are sweating from every crevice. Beautiful place that is super clean and very little crime.

People in Japan have high standards and they live up to it. Clean, modern, vibrant, and all the trains run on time.
Japan and the rest of Asia would be more similar to Africa than Europe if it weren't for US Military Spending. They are essentially teens living upstairs while mama and daddy foot the bills and live in the basement.

If this country hadn't built their country back for them, it'd be a 3rd world shite hole. It is a 3rd world shite hole if you leave the major cities and see how the rest of the country lives.
