I thought Heavens Prisoners was pretty good.

i downloaded the movie before it came out (was it "straight to DVD"?), because I'm a big JLB fan--it said it was a prerelease cut. it looked like something i would've done on iMovie before I got Final Cut Pro. The final wasn't any better. It was like they ran out of money and said, "F it."

Crazy because I thought it was an absolutely perfect cast: Tommy Lee Jones, John Goodman, Mary Steenburgen, Peter Sarsgaard, Ned Beatty, and Kelly Macdonald. They didn't budget enough for production after paying for that cast.
