Some chick we stayed with in Arizona does those obstacle course dog races and she says that their (edit: dumbass) almost too smart for their own good. They don't listen very well.

They try to rape you in the shower. Watch your back.

Border Collie

Depending on how much Border Collie he is, he may spend the rest of his life trying to herd you.

Can get irritating and I know of no way to stop it if they have that inclination - that the whole world is a sheep that needs herding.

Hope you have room for it to run. They are a very smart breed though.

Yeah you'll be good. Just throw the ball with it a lot. A neighbor growing up had a border collie and it would herd the 3 little kids around their yard. It was funny.

Teach him to catch a tennis ball and bring it back.

Next door neighbor had one who would do it as long as you were willing to continue would catch it in the air and run - drop it at your feet and run back out twenty feet and crouch - waiting impatiently for the next throw.

If you were willing to do it five hundred times, that was OK with him.

Ball eventually would get slobbery - He didn't care.

My GF has an Australian Sheppard, which is very similar. It was wild and did revenge pissing.

I put my lab's shock collar on that bitch and it listens to every word I say. I only had to shock her twice.

It does try and herd her (GF) but it is very submissive to me.

I only had to shock her twice.

The other 50 times was payback for pissing in my house.

Use a pinch collar.

Are you being facetious?

I use a pinch collar because our puppy was wild and to this day still has puppy energy but is over 60 lbs. The collar works like a charm and our dog never shows any discomfort.
