you want the government deciding what rights adults have-including the right to marry. SAD. Most of your post was histrionics and more of your straw man arguments but as far as rights decided by govt. Are you talking about: A right to have beginning, middle, and end of a relationship and children/heirs created in said relationship regulated by multiple govts and outside of more recent history taxed more?
I’ve said adults who enter into consenting relationships with adults or enter a legal contract, ie marriage, deserve equal protection under the law. Why is that so difficult for your small brain to understand?
Or A “right” that the federal Govt Supreme Court created in 2015 based on a section of an amendment ratified by legislatures of state govts in 1868 that originally applied as a check on state govts. It is sad that somehow homosexuals didn’t know how to love until the federal govt supremes told state govts to let them marry and regulate it, but are you ok with govt deciding that this is a right to regulate (or equal protection as a state can do away with acknowledging or regulating marriage completely)?
I’m talking about a right that I have to apply for a license from the government to have. I’m talking about a right that gives me TAX benefits. I’m talking about a right that before the Loving case, was denied in some states to those who want to enter interracial marriages. The government has no business picking and choosing which tax paying adults are worthy of benefits afforded to citizens. None. Be fair and get the hell out of marriage or grant everyone civil unions or marriages.
Anyway what about rights of adults who want to attend or run churches based on their beliefs on marriage and rights of same people to run their private business based on their faith? When does the right of one adult end and the other begin?
Churches shouldn’t have tax exempt statuses to begin with. Why should they get tax breaks to buy Pastor John his new jet? I have no issue with churches refusing to marry anyone and a photographer refusing a service, but they should be prepared for their business to fail.

He just said that a group of people are an abomination to God. How is that relevant? Do you take issue with people shoving their religious beliefs down others’ throats who may have different beliefs? Eating pork is a sin, but I haven’t asked for bacon to be banned by the government. Divorce is a sin, but I haven’t asked for divorce to be banned by the government.
I don’t believe there’s a grand conspiracy to “push” anything on my children. This started bc there’s a gay character in strange world. Every day, I have to monitor what my children are watching bc commercials, tv, and movies are filled with heterosexuals kissing, talking about their relationships, etc. it’s exactly the same, but you take issue with Strange World bc the character has a crush on a boy. Don’t like the movie? Don’t go see it. It’s poss poor parenting if you took your kids to a movie and didn’t research the movie. I had to explain to my kids why T’Challa and Nakia had a child out of wedlock in Black Panther but nobody cares about heterosexuals in movies. Why is that content pushed on my children? Why don’t you take issue with “Sleeping Beauty?”
