I still have 2 in my closet, filled with ‘80s hair metal. Most of the cassette cases in it are deformed though because they kind of melted one day in my car when it was really hot.

Looking at prices don't forget they're in Canadian Dollars. Exchange rate in December 87 was 1.3. Even considering that, prices still were higher than I'd expected. Consumer goods have really not kept up with inflation. This explains why we didn't have nearly as much crap growing up.
