Mine was there a couple weeks later, ended up going to Sendai in the Occupation force.

As far as I know, I'm the oldest poster on TD, unless Methuselah wants to claim the title; I'm 81. A couple of weeks ago, there was a thread here about the Doolittle bombing of Tokyo on 18 Apr 1942. That is the oldest thing I can remember. I can't remember anything about it, other than the family talking about we had bombed Japan. I was about 3 1/2.
