Most people can definitely get used to it better with some exposure. I’ve been outside a lot the past many weeks, home/yard projects and watching games on the patio, and I’ve gotten used to it enough that it’s not nearly as bad. I’m comfortable inside with thermostat set at 76. Do like it cool in the evenings though.

I can't feel last years heat. Just the numbers it reached. It was this hot in the 90's. Your body doesn't remember pain, euphoria, or any other physical feeling. Chill.

I can fully believe this. I never went to a school that had AC until I attended LSU. (Then they stuck me in South Stadium dorm with no AC and a window facing the southwest afternoon sun. THAT was HOT!)

I'm 48 and went to a small private school in a small town in south Louisiana. We didn't have A/C until I was a senior in high school....That was 1993 by the way...
