Some baw on the Music board correctly called Voodoo’s cancellation early

Yeah, but that wasn't due to Covid fears for this fall.

What's the reason for canceling? Covid, Money, lack of people wanting to have a booth?

Not canceled. Your source isn’t reliable.

Just heard from a client that the jazz festival has reached out to the French Quarter Festival Inc. asking them if they would cancel/delay their event in October. They think they got too much shite going down in October and don’t want this variant to spread and affect the jazz fest.
And then my client says, but you didn’t hear from
me. So you didn’t hear it from me either

I know for a fact that football attendance is being contemplated.

If numbers continue to climb, football season is screwed. There will be no in person or limited attendance.

The only hope is this surge plateaus quickly in a week or two and then falls.

I have already resigned myself that Louisiana football will likely be impacted because the JBE and the Destroya have been clear on where they stand.

Since I live in Texas, I think our football will be ok, because our governor continues to stand firm that there will be no more mask mandates and reduction of attendance.
