Our power came back on at 5:30 this morning.
congrats, hope ours comes on pretty soon - generator is doing its job, but now that its 90 freaking degrees outside that A/C unit needs some juice
but you’re right, its amazing that there weren’t more injuries/loss of life, things got pretty hairy pretty quickly
very dear friend of mine lost her house and everything in it - not to the wind, but to a fire that broke out just as the storm was hitting

Y'all make it out alright?
All was good until my generac decided it wanted to push low voltage into the house and cooked my AC. First time needing it, two years old, and it worked great for 2 nights.

Alpha,
Although I don’t like bama football, you are a damn Saint for doing shite like this.
My little town, Ocean Springs, got through Katrina better than most everyone on the Coast, but I can’t tell you how much it meant to us with all the communities offering help. It chokes me up even typing this.
Just that we were not facing everything alone meant everything to everyone. The churches were the biggest help in everything. FEMA was a joke, the Mormons and the church groups were not.
