No. I've been to many meetings, and when people share stuff like that, it's only after they've paid the penalty. Though I've heard some things said between sponsor and sponsee might be otherwise, the AA rule is to ALWAYS make amends, and that means confession for crimes committed.

People are people, I wouldn't say anything in group setting that I wouldn't want everyone to know!

There is no legal protection.
But I've been to plenty enough and heard enough stories of crimes being committed during the use of alcohol. Killing someone? No. But real crimes. Like robberies and such? Yes. And people didn't run to the cops.
So crimes in general are discussed with some type of immunity.
If you go in there giving details of murders and rapes I'm sure someone would turn you in. But non-lethal? Doubtful.
