Use newspaper to cover the floor.

Don’t ruin a perfectly good piece of plywood.

This is very important.

Letting it come to room temperature is how you get salmonella.

Setting up near the sink is a good idea. Being close to water to put out a grease fire, just in case. Seems you've thought of everything safetywise.

Frozen and Frying Turkey does not go together. It is supposed to be completely defrosted before frying. And especially if you’re doing it indoors, you might have a visit by the men and women in colored fire trucks. (I say colored because in my area Houma has red fire trucks, Bayou Cane has Yellow, and Bayou Blue has Blue.)
