Obviously you would need to get the LLM (out of state because LA doesn't have a school offering it) for the connections. A guy I know got an accounting degrees went to ls and then got a tax LLM and is doing very well for himself in the transactional tax work world. Although none of his degrees were from a La school. Point is, having an accounting degree is not going to hurt you, especially if you're gonna work hard.

This is more towards what I am trying to ask. So lets say someone wants to become a writer, journalist.. whatever. Could they learn the skills needed without having to go to college and still get a job as a writer ir journalist?

OweO, you can be whatever you want to be when you grow up if your work hard enough. Especially in the internet age, you can teach yourself anything if you have the discipline. But, when you become a big time journalist please don't write any hit pieces on the TigerDroppings.
