as much free birth control, morning after pills, abortion, vasectomies, tubals, etc, all free and encouraged, crime will be better in about 15 years

I guess while we are at it throw in as much free crack cocaine and heroin as people want for some earlier returns

Great post. Agree 100%
Would add that it can be fixed, in my option, but we are too soft as a state (or country) to take the actions required. Contributing members to society and responsible citizens are leaving NOLA every year and the population is shrinking. The only ones left are mostly drains on society, taking more from government than they contribute. NOLA will die a slow death as the majority can always keep voting themselves more free stuff at the expense of the remaining taxpayers.
