Uptown doesn't have a sign; although if you are looking for a sign with "Uptown" in it, I suggest swinging by Henry's Uptown Bar on Magazine Street.

Unrelated to the topic of this thread but, when you’re traveling east on interstate 12 there’s a very conveniently placed bit of graffiti on an overpass notifying drivers when they have arrived in, “the dell.”

Slow going at the base and near the toll plaza in both directions of the Crescent City Connection, and an accident with injury, with both vehicles still blocking traffic, near the top of the Danzinger Bridge.
