If you think the human race is regressing, go watch a sporting event from the 60’ or 70’s and compare to today. Also look at things like cars, ovens, medical procedures, etc. All have progressed immensely.

Not sure strong is the right word. Most fit/adaptable to a given environment. There are many factors, for instance a species that can have more off spring at a time has an evolutionary advantage. Some species suck, they are weak and dumb, like possums or rats, but they can reproduce and adapt

I’m talking about each individual species. In each species, the strong and intelligent ones survive. The weak and stupid either starve or are killed by other animals. Just to use deer as an example. The largest, strongest bucks fight other bucks for the right to breed does. They pass their good genetics onto their progeny. This is the way for almost all animal species.
It basically used to be like this in ancient history for mankind.
BTW, most large and strong bucks are also very smart and cunnning and live to be several years old because of this. Large and stupid, not so much.

I don’t know that is necessarily true. Have you ever seen a bunch of rats? They are all basically doing the same thing. Their advantage is they can live almost in any condition and have tons of off spring. Also, a ton of things were done in ancient times that were abhorrent, we have way more intellect and compassion than other species. But even Neanderthals cared for their weak and injured. Are you suggesting we should be below that?

Every time I go to Europe I find it noticeable that as a whole they are thinner, fitter people overall and that walking and bicycling is part of their daily lives. Their diets are also much better because they don't eat the processed shite we are fed here. I lost almost 8 lbs in three weeks in Spain in May and I ate and drank to my hearts content.

Ok so the educational system, that’s something tangible and can be improved upon. All of the rah, rah, only the strong survive BS really has no place.
