Strike 1) you have to call. Can’t do it online.

Strike 2) purposefully pass you around to various reps, managers, specialists, etc

Strike 3) they will offer a lower deal no less than 5 times before actually cancelling and will purposefully try to creat confusion to where you agree to a 6 month deal, and just when you thought you have cancelled the say “okay so we got you on the 6 month deal blah blah blah” and that’s when you come to your senses and realize you’re on a crazy train and lose your temper.

Has to be the worst right?

It’s really not bad. At best you’ll spend 10 minutes on the phone.

I'm willing to goto a slight dialogue with XM to bring the bill down to $5 a month.

Cox are ignorant fricks.

From their perspective they're the GOAT.

How often are we getting their best, mine was no ten minute friendly conversation.

Comcast is the worst for me.

I closed my account with them and got a deposit check back from them in the mail. I gave them the new address that I moved to so that the deposit check woukd be sent.

I get the check and ordered DirectTV and never looked back. However, like a year later I get a call from a collection agency saying I owe Comcast money. I confirm my new address with them and then ask how I owed money if they had my new address and sent the deposit check to said address. The company said they would look into it and I have not heard anything in months about it.

Mine was easy because I told them I was moving to DC (true) and getting rid of my car (turned out not to be true). The rep didn't argue and I was off the phone pretty quickly.

I actually wanted to cancel, not lower my bill, so it’s the fricking worst for that.

just don't pay them. They'll cancel you eventually.

I was just on the website to cancel a device at a house we're selling. That you have to call in to cancel stuff is bullshite.

Sirius XM is the worst company in the planet. Spoofed spam phone calls, incessant mail, and I’ve never even been a subscriber.

Here's my advice and use it whenever you call any company's customer service: as soon as someone answers, ask for their supervisor and when that person answers, ask to speak to their supervisor; then cancel.

I was asked two questions before they dropped my price and gave me a new end date.

The only annoying deal about Sirius is the number of emails they send out a month.

To this day I still don’t get why people didn’t just to a one time fee for a lifetime subscription. That way you pay a one time flat fee and don’t have to worry about it again.

Thanks for the reminder. Called to fake cancel and went from $220/year to $85/year. Don't settle for first deal.
I have put the anniversary on my outlook calendar to do it again on 2019 renewal.
