I'm sure every case is different but it changed my life for the better.
This is exactly what I came to post.

i used to get several sinus infections each year for many years. I started taking 250 mg of Vitamin C per day and it solved my problem.

I had it, and haven't had oak pollen issues since. Had sinus surgery with baloon sinuplasty. Also cleared up sinus disease.
The recovery is easier than they tell you. When the stints are in your nose for the 1st couple of days, you have to breath out of your mouth. They stay clogged for a bit even with routine saline water flushing. Pro tip-
Before bed.. To keep your mouth moist, buy some peppermint lifesavers with the hole in the middle. Put one in a twice during sleep like you would chewing tobacco so you won't swallow it. Sleep in an upright tilted position to further prevent that. Make sure to saline flush with the spray 6 times a day. That way the stints come out smooth after 3 weeks or, so.

Oh my god - yes. A million times yes.
The feeling of waking up for the first time having slept with your mouth closed (rather than open) is the most amazing feeling you'll ever experience.

i know like 6 people who have had sinus surgery. one being my dad... and literally every single one said they recommend to NEVER do it. That it didnt help any, and that the surgery and recovery was miserable. Not a single positive review from the few i know.
This. My cousin had it and has lost his sense of smell.

No. My wife had it 2.5 years ago. She still has the same exact problems/headaches

Is your cousin Dewey Cox by chance?

I had FESS in 2005 and have not regretted it for one moment, and haven't had a sinus infection since then.

I had sinus surgery about 15 years ago.
It helped me immensely, but the two weeks after surgery were rough.
Pre surgery, I’d have 2 to 5 sinus infections per year, but I can count on one hand the number of infections after surgery.
My sense of smell is better now, and I seldom get sinus headaches.
Flonase every once in a while is the only medication I need.

I had it back in 2002 and it was intensely painful and didn't help a bit.

Not sure which one, several years back got my deviated septum fixed and the ent recommended that later down the road I get my sinus looked at. Said I would probably need something done but he wasn’t going to do anything since it was bothersome. Now it’s bothering me and I’m just trying to decide if it’s worth going into a specialist and if the procedure they have work.

I need to have that done. But at my age 53 it's elective surgery which is always a bad idea.
