Is it wrong to go into a store with no intention of buying anything

Today on the way back from the barber I stopped at a local fish store just to look around, with no intention of buying anything(I don't even have a tank running right now and won't until I move in the next couple of months). But I still like to go and look around and check out the fish, inverts, corals, setups, equipment, new technology, and such, see what all is in stock and the prices.
But I felt like an arse because I went in just to look at stuff in there and not buy anything, and felt like that is rude, especially to the employees who tried to assist me.

I walk in stores all the time to get ideas.
Browsing in stores tells me what store has what finished project, and what store has what items to get to a finished product.
I will give those stores my business when needed, but reconnaissance is a fair part of buying items. Stores know that.

Yeah the store had a freshwater and saltwater section. If you have followed my posts on the OT you will know I am a big fan of corys and plecos. Even though I am a reef tank man myself. Maybe I'll end up having 2 tanks, one reef and one freshwater.
