It's trashy to wash your vehicle and also trashy to have a dirty vehicle.

I like to wash them at the car wash with their soap and sprayer.I don't use their brush, and I probably make other people mad by taking the time to wash sections of my vehicles with a sponge, before rinsing them off.
My church isn't far from the car wash, so I usually go dry, and/or wax them in the back parking lot. There aren't any trees to dirty up the car before I get it dry. If I try to dry them at home, they get leaves or pollen on them before I can get them dry.
I occasionally back them out into the drive and do them at home, when I'm in a hurry. If I wash them at home, I get on I-20, drive to the Grambling exit, turn around and come back home to wipe them completely dry after that. I can do that when they've been waxed.
