I grew up in a time when kids were sent to the store to buy beer and cigarettes for adults in the family, so no is my answer.

In my house they are called "Daddy Cokes". And yes, I have them fetched for me from time to time. And yes, I am trashy. But for 99 other reasons. Not this.

I have called my sister to have her send a nephew over to grab me a beer. I usually give them a dollar

Shite, my kids make "tips" on family vacations for bringing/mixing drinks for us....the more they bring their uncle and grandpa the more they make. Kind of seems cruel to cut off the gravy train.
