Is It Okay For Men To Take Selfies?

I think it makes sense in two scenarios:
1) when standing in front of a famous landmark, like the Taj Mahal;
2) when holding a baby while shirtless and flexing
Otherwise, it just does not feel like a masculine thing to do to pose in front of a mirror and take a picture of yourself with your phone.
Thoughts?

It's one thing to take your photo in front of a famous landmark for your own purposes....or to email to your grandmother. It's another thing to post it on Facebook.

mirror pics are only ok if you've been asked for one by an internet whore and you stand a legit chance of fornication because of it. it's sad i have to explain this to you.

Of course it isn't, unless you're a tool. However, non-mirror selfies (for the most part) aren't too bad.
