I laughed because the first time I saw you post you were mad the board complemented some guy on financial advise but didn't give you any praise for your advice and basically claimed people have made millions listening to you. I thought ok no problem, let me go see the great advice he gave.
Your post was you telling someone to invest in Index (wow, breaking news), and to not spend time watching TV. All the while you proceed to give advice later on in thread based on movies and admitted you played video games. So TV is a big no no for someone wanting to get rich but movies and video games are ok with you. Give me a break.
So yea, I laughed. Nothing you said in that post was anything worth praising, much less worth getting mad that nobody was praising you. Maybe investing in Index and not watching TV is great advice to someone else, I'm not saying it's bad advice, just nothing special.
Maybe if you told people what you do for a living or the company or position you worked for/owned that would at least make them think you're a reliable source. Taking financial advice from some random guy off TD is is not wise in general.
When thread pops up in my field of expertise I mention what I do and experience so people at least have somewhat of a reason to believe what I am saying.
