Yeah. I've got the generator and whatnot to survive an ice storm, but it's looking like it's going to be south of us. Sad for them.
We had one 15 years ago where we made it through with power, but the Walmart on the other side of town was without. A full 24 hours later our power went down and Walmart's magically came on. Meanwhile it took 5+ days for a power to come back and we had to stay with the MIL with wood heat. Thankfully it never got cold enough inside out place to eff with the plumbing.
Needless to say that whole episode spurred the current level of preparedness.

Any Moisture at all or is it all Dry?

Been told I’ll get 6 to 10 inches.
Can’t trust those weathermen though. They never give you as much as they say they’re going to.

4-8 here and cold but not as bitterly cold as was forecasted a couple of days ago. I wfh so we’ll hire someone to clear the driveway (150’) and stay inside where it’s toasty. Dogs will love it.
