In a completely hypothetical situation I think the US fighting both Russia and China at the same time would be an interesting debate as to how that would even work out and play out...assuming neither side uses nuclear weapons.
I could have sworn I heard a podcast that played out what that would be like.

My point is.. You really don't know. Sort of like how people thought we had to go in Iraq because everyone was told they had WMD only to find out later the Bush administration was selling the American public & congress on that idea in order to take down Saddam.
And don't give me that bullshite about how Saddam had to be taken out because of the way he treated his citizens because there are a few other countries in which the leader should be taken out because of how it treats its citizens (north Korea for one). It was all about wanting to establish a bigger presence in the middle east. To establish a more democratic government that would be allies with the US.
Presidents distracting the public from other issues is nothing new. And I am not even saying this is the case in this situation. I am simply saying.. If it came out that is what happened, it would not surprise me. But hey.. I am not as simple as you either.

I didn’t advocate turning Iran into a parking lot I simply stated should the United States desire to do so it could be done at will without blinking.
I believe the end game will amount to regime change and a softening in relations between the US and Iran. This won’t happen overnight but it will happen. The Iranian general populace would prefer to be on more friendly terms and they have a much more Western leaning thinking than most others in the region. They are for the most part being held hostage by a hardline minority.
