Depends on if you want them to leave with you or just enjoy at the club.

I'm thinking that's the best option. How expensive do you think the flights from Bangkok to Cambodia are?
Can be had for as low as $50 each way in May on AirAsia.
I flew Bangkok Airways which was more expensive and fit my schedule better so I can't attest to AirAsia, however, I know people on the Money board have flown them.
ETA: be mindful, AirAsia flies out of DMK and not BKK

$300 RT flight. $40/night for a hotel in a casino (got a great deal) split between two. So $20/night. If we didn't make a trip to the San Blas mountains it would have been ~$550 total.
So 460 for flight and hotel.. And then 140-240 for 8 days of food, ubers, traveling to mountains, traveling to and from airport? Did you not drink or gamble, or buy anything?
People always underestimate what they spend on trips. It seems to be the cool thing to do when talking about traveling. I've been to developing countries before and thugs aren't that much cheaper.

Holy shite. That's a no brainer. The RT flights from the states to Cambodia are insane. Spend a few days in Thailand and then head to Cambodia. Where do you normally go for flight deals? I use theflightdeal.com.

A lot of times I see them posted on travel blogs I frequent.
I did Thailand on award tickets so that was a bit different.
However, I did nail "cheap" flights to Greece back in 2009 but that was by accident ($800 RT). Pretty direct to MSY - ATL - ATH.
Got India for $800 back in 2013. That was because I had kayak world explorer up and was going to go wherever the cheap prices said to go.
But it seems like you can do sub $800 anywhere if you are ready to book whenever it happens.

Broke all the expenses down after the trip.
