International business travel should have been shifted to online

Ten years ago. There’s no reason for people flying all over the world when you can meet remotely. Sign documents electronically.
Something like this wouldn’t have spread as easily if this had been the case.

Yeah I mean that is pretty logical. Completely shut down all international travel 2 months ago.

Yeah we had people flying in from London to give a 30 minute presentation, just a massive waste of money.

Yes, the only reason to travel internationally for business is meetings.

Leisure travel is obviously different and should only stop when stuff like this happens.

If you dont understand the impact of face to face meetings vs online/over the phone, then I cant help you.
I get more accomplished spending a week somewhere in person than I do in 6 months on conference calls. Not all businesses benefit the same, but to say we should switch as a policy is asinine.
