Inspection sticker in LP, EBR

Does anyone know why we can't get a 2 year inspection sticker? Also, can you go to a parish that allows it?

Emissions testing. The 5-parish area (EBR, WBR, LP, Asc, Iber) are all non-attainment for ozone. So we have to get inspections annually including emissions testing. Everybody else isn't required to do so and they can get 2 year stickers.
Ready for the good news? The ozone standard is changing soon and the entire state will be in non-attainment. No more 2 year tags for anyone!!!!

Because EBR and the surrounding parishes require extra emissions testing. Unfortunately, if your car is registered in one of those 5 parishes, you have to get it inspected in one of those parishes too.
