Benny's is one of the only places I know about around here that accept credit cards for inspection stickers...

Times be tough these days.

No, they're more expensive in BR and the surrounding parishes because we have to pay for extra emissions testing, so it's around $18. It's BS and if your car is registered in one of these parishes, you can't even get it inspected in one of the cheaper parishes.

I was in Pittsburgh my first year and it expired. I didn't want to change my plate and drivers license so I called la DMV. They sent me a letter to carry saying I was exempt if I got shite in pa for being expired. Pretty cool of em. Drove it home last fall for winter and a cop gave me shite when I stopped for gas in sludell. Not in la for an hour and got harassed. He let me go when I told him I just drove in and showed him the letter from the dmv

More annoying is if your vehicle does not require emissions testing.
18$ for a sticker...no inspection, just a sticker.

Is your car obd1 or obd2?
Pre 95...yes.
Post 95...a little more tricky.
If you pull the codes though, and tell me the vehicles, I can probably point you in the right direction of a cheap repair.

Benny's sucks for inspection stickers. Last time I went there for one, Mongoloid Mike made me buy a pair of windshield wiper blades or he was going to fail me.
Key word you said there was a PAIR of windsheild wipers.
I just about flipped my shite with them. They tell me it's $20 to change the wipers, oh and i was there for just an inspection sticker which i failed and they did not tell me i failed, i figured it out when i drove away and saw the red sticker. I'm like, that's ridiculous, but whatever, i don't feel like going to wal-mart.
get the bill and it was $20 for one wiper. Who the hell gives the prices like that? that's like telling someone these shoes are $80, $80 for each shoe. Told them to take the wipers off and he told me they arleady threw away the old ones. Don't care, i'll go to wal-mart right now and change them.
That was my last time going to Benny's.
I failed the inspection for one of my parking break lights being out. You'd think those money grubbing morons would have a bunch of lights sitting around to change for me and rape me with the price, and let me pass the inspection.

IDK, but watch out for the little Vietnamese man who tries to sell you air filters and wiper blades.

07 volvo s60. Usually a tank of premium gas and a fuel treatment take care of the light, just haven't done it lately.
I'll pull the code and post it later, if there is a cheap semi permanent fix I'd be grateful.

New forward 02 sensor I'm guessing before seeing the code.
Try running one can of berrymans chemtool through it. But if near or over 100k...get the front 02 sensor. Ngk or denso preferably.

you can't even get an oil change at Benny's without them harassing you about getting a fricking transmission flush, air filters, etc.

They're $10 in most places besides BR. I got the $20 that makes me good for 2 years

I'm sure instructions will be on the can, but do I need a full tank or empty tank of gas for the chemtool? Or does it even matter? Also can I get it at any auto store like autozone? Thanks

Get it at Walmart, its cheaper.
Go to a chevron or Texaco close to E. Dump the can in, fill up, try to go to E on the tank within a few days.
Chemtool is a hardcore solvent, so don't get it on paint.
