Cracks me up reading posts from people that live in high crime shitholes in Mississippi ragging on small towns in Indiana where people don't even lock their doors because there is no crime.

I lived in Bloomington for 15 miserable years. Made the mistake of marrying a Hoosier gal, who’s now my ex. The countryside near Bloomington, including Brown County SP, is similar to parts of Kentucky—with long ridges and rolling hills. Good hiking, camping, cycling, horseback riding and halfway decent boating, fishing, and hunting. But the people are different. It’s hard to find the charm that’s more prevalent in the South or the humor that’s more prevalent in the upper Midwest. Of the six states I’ve lived in, Indiana is my least favorite.
