I got an engineering degree in 1985 and it was crickets when I got out. It was a downcycle; you graduated in an upcycle.

This is overwhelmingly good, but Indians can come up with some really good breakthroughs in science and engineering sometimes. To what extent this will create a brain drain in the United States is to be determined.

More jobs for Americans, however.

They've got certification mills and interview services available to get people into jobs that they're wholly unqualified for in the United States.
