Does everyone play by the official rules and put the property up for auction if the person that lands on it doesn't want to buy it?

Beneford's law states it has to be one of the ones that start with a one, however when you factor in the golden ratio along with assigning them values and the number of players it is whichever is the luckiest on that particular day.

It's basic Monopoly maths

My friend's dad always swore that owning Marvin Gardens was the key to winning.

I have no idea why. But he swore by it.

In this version of Monopoly, all the properties are the same.

Orange

Best bang for your buck when buying houses. When you get sent to jail you always have to dodge these statistically high % rolls

In Monopoly it is not a specific property to win the game, but the goal is to get a “monopoly” of a particular color group or all of the utilities and railroads. With the color groups, once you own them all you can then start building buildings.

Remember, you start with only 1500 dollars, so the goal should be to start small and build up the lower value properties first. Then once you start bankrupting opponents and assume their properties then you start homing in on the higher valve properties to create instant bankruptcy traps.

Remember, just to improve Park Place and Boardwalk to hotel status, you need a big bankroll. 750 to buy if you land on them and 2000 for houses and hotels.

This has always been my strategy.

You get all four railroads and you can $200 here and $200 there your opponents to death. Get a monopoly to go with it and they’re done.
