Didn't know they still made it. PBR and Beast are premium beers compared to that crap.

Yeah, I didn't either.

Red Dog was not intended to be a downmarket beer.

It was around 1995 that domestic beer with >5.0% abv hit the market. Miller established the Plank Road Brewery label for their offerings.

Its initial products were Icehouse, Red Dog, and Southpaw. These were intended to be slightly upmarket compared to Budweiser, Miller Lite, and the like.

I still drink Icehouse semi-frequently, although if anyone asks me what it is I describe it as "waitress beer."

Drank a ton of Southpaw 20+ years ago. I remember it tasting a lot like Icehouse, but a bit blander.

My Crimson Trace laser site on a Springfield XD .45 paints a red dot just fine in the dark, even when the electricity goes out.

What sort of firepower do you keep on tap to protect your family and property at night when the power is out and it’s pitch black outside?
Sorry you're poor. I do nothing. The sheriff's department in my parish sends over marked and unmarked cars with officers to protect us...they know were the property tax dollars come from that pay their salaries.

Get a generac generator and run it off natural gas. Get the biggest tank possible. Mine will run my whole house for 25 days.
