Coyotes get a bad rap. They are always being blamed for the problems of the world.

Propaganda from the pro wolf camp
I’m pro wolf but anti propaganda. Was clear what the intent of this video was.

A lot of that could have also been the Yellowstone was starting to recover from the Fires in 88 that devastated 70% of the park.

That is pure pro-wolf propaganda at its finest. The introduction of the non-native wolves to Yellowstone (yes, the wolf type introduced is NOT native to Yellowstone) has created more problems than benefits.
Also, some of those "benefits" attributed to the wolves were actually facilitated by the 1988 fires.
Ask the ranchers around Yellowstone how they feel about these wonderful, cuddly-looking wolves that kill their livestock for sport.
As a DNR agent told me once in elk camp, his advice for wolves is to follow the three Ss - Shoot, Shovel, Shut-up.

They should also mention, Yellowstone originally had Timber Wolves; but they reintroduced the much larger Artic Wolf to Yellowstone. The Artic wolf has decimated the Bison and Elk herds in Yellowstone, then as mentioned have spread well beyond the borders of the park. The Artic Wolf is a large enough animal, that it can take down healthy animals from the herd, not pick of the old and sick as nature intended.
