This is insanity. How many Americans died in Vietnam, only to see it be taken over by communists anyway? Saddam was our ally a decade before we went to war with him the first time. We then let him remain in power, only to invade his country again a decade later based on the idea that he had WMD's. And the consequences of that invasion were that even worse people took hold once that power vacuum was gone. If your idea of maturity is spouting Bill Kristol and David Frum propaganda, to hell with maturity.
