It seems like every time I see a video or read an article about something dealing with "white privilege", it's some white hippie trying to convince people that being born with white skin automatically gives white people free passes that other races do not have.
In reality, as a society we are more divided by class, but it is perceived to be by race which is why I think all of these idiots who are fighting "white privilege" are privileged fricks, not because they are white, but because they are born in a wealthy family and instead of having to work while in college, they have time to "be a voice" against "white privilege".
Being around black people on a regular basis, I never once felt like they have it so bad in society because they are black and that I should join the cause to speak against "white privilege". In fact, I would think that would be more offensive to them. They would probably think "what the frick happened that made him thinks he has to be a voice for all black people?".
Black people hate black people they refer to as the "n word" more than anyone. Which I think is something everyone should be aware of. When we hear this racial shite or these jackasses with their "white privilege" bullshite we tend to look at it as "us versus them" and it reflects the perception you have on all people from that race. In reality, these people who make a big deal out of these issues are in no way speaking for the majority.
These are small groups who make all the noise. A lot more people have real life problems and priorities to worry about. If no one gets worked up or makes a big deal about it, then it doesn't get much attention,

It’s difficult to be brief when discussing this issue. I honestly think most people don’t get it.

How do you know? Seriously, what have you experienced that can back up this statement?
I can say that I interact with black people who hates to see when things happen that make black people look bad. I am putting it mildly. They make comments like "these __________ are the reason people think the way they do about black people".
You think all black people agree with what every other black person does? "I work hard every day, provide for my family and those people sit at home all day collecting off the government... But they black so I am cool with it"
The same goes for black people who think that the actions of the white people they see in the news represents all white people. What if someone thought just because you are white, you will probably go off the track one day and go shoot up a bunch of people?
