If you were to take away one thing from cross-fit, it should be the WoD

Adding this after a strength workout three times a week along with cardio twice a week has turned me into a shredded monster in 2 months.
Crossfit
frick a bar muscle up though.
Also anyone have any good suggestions for HIIT shorts?

You Cross fitters are about as bad as Jehovah's Witnesses, always asking me if I've always heard the good news about Cross Fit.

The original Tabata protocol. Not the bullshite that people made up using one part of the methodology and call a "Tabata."

We did the Kalsu wod this morning. One of the toughest wod's I've ever done.

The biggest thing I take away from it is the number of participants who are hospitalized with rhabdomyolysis.

An atheist, a vegan, and a crossfitter walked into a bar. I know because they told everyone within 2 minutes of being there.

Lol Rhabdo is very rare to get, even in Crossfit. You know what's more dangerous though? The 1.8 million fatasses who die every year sitting on the couch.

Cult....there is a guy in Hammond that is the worst. He's about 5'1 ex marine that is a total douche

Could've swore this dad died last year. Sorry you're behind the curve gramps

So if you don't crossfit=fatass?

It is indeed very rare. That's the reason I mention it. I've seen more from crossfitters than from other causes combined.
OP asked one takeaway. That was mine. Just sayin', not hating.
Edit: I went back and read the OP in its entirety. It did not ask for a takeaway after all, but asked about shorts, and told us what the takeaway should be. My mistake and apologies.

All a WoD is is HIIT done with exercises that sometimes shouldn't be done in a HIIT program. There's a million ways to program a HIIT program. I have 4-5 formats that I've been using before crossfit had their first case of rhabdo

I understand now, I've heard about it but never seen it happen around me personally. There was a story of the Iowa football team not long ago that had to do 100 back squats @50% pr and 13 of the athletes got Rhabdo.

Really? Lol. That's some ingenious coaching there. 100 @50%. Fricking coach just pulled those numbers out of thin air? That's basically what crossfit does. "Uhhhhhh go run a mile.....then do uhhhh squats, yeah, squats...300 should be good. Then go swing from that bar over there...try to get your chin near it, if not that's ok too...guess booooouuut 200 of them, then let's go run another mile....WOD!!!!!"

Sorry for the temporary derailment of the thread. I admit I know almost nothing about crossfit. And yes, I'm a semi-fatass. Lol
