Yeah! I can't believe those assholes aren't giving us another $1,200 of free money again!

So funny - I know it’s not free money

Point being is that we shouldn’t get any - but those other countries shouldn’t be getting squat either

At least make it worth what my kids are going to have to make up in taxes in 20 years

I say cut programs, pay people. It's a government created disaster. Make them take it out of their budget.

Fair enough. I took it the wrong way.

I hate the sense of entitlement coming from so many people who have not had their income impacted at all by Covid. Blanket payments to Americans is idiotic and lazy, this one and the last.

It’s ok - if we shut down again my family is screwed so I am just going to put whatever in the savings anyway

I shouldn’t have answered so bitchily

Amazon and Walmart are an interesting case study. They dominate small business retailers, but their prices and services help other small businesses prosper.

Well I think the outrageous amount of aid to foreign countries needs to be reevaluated

ETA: this isn’t a new thing - for sure in the ‘80s and ‘90s Israel received almost a million dollars a day - I understand they are our allies but that’s ridiculous
