One time my mom made us get off a puddle jumper after an aborted takeoff. It was a bit embarrassing. The plane later left with no problem.

No. Try to imagine what manner of duct taping and paper clipping goes on behind the scenes on those planes.

Being this is America, it doesn't concern me in the least. I elect to have full faith in the companies and the people doing the work to not put me in the sky on something that has an elevated failure risk.

We got deplaned in Houston heading to Hawaii on a 777.

8 hours later we re-boarded and thought it was a different plane but the magazine that I left in my seat was still there.

Wasn't the best feeling knowing we had all that time with no divert airport ahead of us, but what are you going to do.

Only time I have ever had that happen was in Kuwait on the way back to the states. Was happy to get back on when they got the brakes fixed.

Then it happened again in ATL and it was a little more annoying bc we were all anxious to make it back home to DFW

Thanks Omni Air

No. I doubt the pilot has a death wish, and they can refuse the plane if they're not confident in the repair/issue to begin with.
