You started it Mr "I just wanted to be as descriptive as possible."
This thread makes you look upset.
You made a stupid thread and started calling names from the jump. Nothing reasonable was coming from this thread, and that's just the way you wanted it to go.

That doesn't even make sense. I didn't call you any names. I'm just having a good laugh.

Look, I apologize for upsetting you. It doesn't matter what I think about your van or the embarrassing things you do. As long as you're ok with them, it's ok.

OP is one insecure mofo about vehicles. If he isn't whining about trucks, hes whining about minivans. I wouldn't drive a minivan either, but I dont worry about those who do.

This isn't about me, or your obsession with me. This is about minivans.

Now tell me why you wouldn't drive a minivan.

You did. You just chose to use the definition of the word instead of the word.

Still not upset.

I honestly don't care about the embarrassing things you do. You're obviously not worried about other people looking at you funny, so that's a good thing.

Right, a thread that OP asks why any man would do this clearly shows you don't care.

Well I care in the sense that I find it humorous. Does that count?

But I'm just telling you that it doesn't matter what I think, as long as you're not worried about other people finding it funny or thinking it's embarrassing, it doesn't matter.

The company vehicle is a minivan and I drive our group to lunch functions. I've had some nice views of female coworkers wearing skirts exiting said minivan

Why are you backpedaling from your OP? You do more than find it humorous. Why can't you just own your opinions?

ut I'm just telling you that it doesn't matter what I think

I covered that in my first response in this thread.

If mini vans weren't so practical many families wouldn't have one. My wife had one when the kids were young. It was great for that purpose. When the kids got older we switched to a SUV

Minivan owner checking in.

A year ago I traded in my truck for one for the wife and took her car for the daily commute. Never looked back. With multiple kids you can't get any more practical. It rides nice, and I can haul anything I need. The power sliding doors are awesome. We no longer have to worry about getting kids in and out at parking lots.

I do not tow trailers or boats, so I do not need a truck/SUV. For the occasional big load I borrow a truck or have it delivered. A month's savings in gas will pay for any deliveries I may need throughout the year.

I may get another truck one day, but not for this season in life. Or I may get another minivan if we keep traveling

Maybe we have a different definition of the term backpedaling. In addition to finding it humorous, I find it embarrassing for the male driver of the van. I've referred to it as such in my past 3-4 posts. Is that considered backpedaling?

I think maybe I realized how much it bothered you and I'm just trying to talk you down a little bit. Things got a bit out of control and I don't want you to let stuff on TigerDroppings affect you so much.

Any vehicle to me is just that, a method to get from point A to point B. I drove a minivan for about 10 years and it didn't bother me at all. shite ton of room in those things and the drive is fine.

Pecker, I care deeply about what you think. Can you give me a list of cars I shouldn't drive if I want to be considered cool?

TIA

Yeah sure, no problem.

1) I'd stay away from minivans.

That's basically it. They're kind of embarrassing for male drivers.

Contrary to what someone else said on here, I have no problem with trucks. I personally don't own one, but trucks are cool.

May need to step up to a Pruis Plug In for the most cool factor.

Well if you're driving a school bus, I'd assume it's for work. In which case, I'd support you 100% because you're out there grinding trying to make an honest buck.

I wouldn't drive a Prius, but it's not a minivan so it's got that going for it.

I'd steer clear of Audi TTs and Miatas, just to be safe.

The bus is my everyday driver. Lots of room and very versatile.

The Prius is really only used when taking the wife on a nice date to Bennigans or Texas Road House, or if I am trying to impress work people.

You're not wrong but they are limited when you have grandparents in town.
