If you are on a beach, where are you on the other side of the world?

Neat map from the Washington Post. If you are on the Gulf Coast, you're basically Morocco or the Western Sahara, on the East, and in the West, South China.

I think it's what's directly east or west across the ocean, not what the point (or country) is on the other side of the world from where you are.
Still pretty cool to see, especially the southern tip of South America, where the point east or west is actually part of the same continent.

I didn't realize how far north Europe is until several years ago.
I just pictured in my mind that New York was pretty much due west of England and we were across from Spain.
