I mean the second most hardcore trip (and best) I’ve ever had was on an eighth of shrooms. We were at the first annual Rothbury/Electric Forest. My best friend and I had been doing a quarter of shrooms a day. A drug dealer comes up to our tent on the final day asking what we want, and we both say a quarter of shrooms, and he talks us out of it. He said these shrooms were the most intense shite he’s ever had, and he’s taken 5 doses of acid at once. He then told us why would he try to downsell us to buying an eighth and we took him at his word. It was as good as gold.
Took them at sunset and about 30 minutes later we both started laughing so hard it was as if liquid joy was pumping through my system instead of blood. It’s the happiest I’ve ever been and I’m convinced it’s the happiest I will ever be. Even with my firstborn kid I doubt I will be that happy. I was literally crying of joy for 8 straight hours. Tears coming down my face of absolute joy. In retrospect I would have bought out his entire stock on those shrooms and done them all summer.

Raw, and I still haven’t run into any shrooms as remotely potent or incredible since then. While two of my married friends that were there won’t admit this to their wives, it was the greatest weekend of our lives. All three of us have this 3D poster hung up in our offices to this day for reference:

I can tell you roughly how long it lasts. Anywhere from 3-8 hours. Shrooms unless you know the batch are decently unpredictable. Enjoy the trip.

A friend in high school taught me to look for these in the spring, in damp rich cow pastures. They were so easy to find. We would make small batches of lemonade/shroom tea. Amazing stuff. I saw The Exorcist the first time at the theater and that was some scary arse shite!

We used to pick garbage bags of them on Kleinpeter land. But those freeze dried hydros were a different beast. Not better or worse (with the exception of digesting all those pasture shrooms in whatever form.)
Let this be a lesson to any of the kids out there. Do some shrooms. Probably the last thing you can get and not worry about fentanyl.

EDIT: And by the way Phish made a surprise visit to this which I remember. This was the greatest music fest since Woodstock, and if you made it, you will never forget it and it will never be topped.

I would budget 6-8 hours of awake time before sleeping. I like day trips in nature more than tripping late at night. I’m also 37 now so the thought of taking shrooms at 10 or 11 is comical
