Somebody has to have her.
If the dog is alive this is more than likely the case. I have a black GSD and get a lot of what I call negative attention aka folks not asking nicely about her. Had people pull in front of me in parking lots wanting to know where I got her, others have walked right up to me and offered $1,000 on sight. Have been followed a few times. I'm constantly asked when will I breed her. Made me very nervous so I had her chipped and registered with a recovery service for this very reason. Black GSDs are viewed as a rarity even though they aren't. I hope the dog is found/returned.

I think that may be part of the issue with why this has taken so long. It cerianly is not because of lack of effort to locate her on the owners part.

Don't know if the dog has been found or not but I just saw this posted on Lost Pets of Baton Rouge's Facebook page. Dog looks very similar to the one you posted and is in a somewhat close area to where it got out:

Hey, if it was my pet I would hope someone would care enough to give it a solid effort

May be two different dogs. Any information will be followed up on and helps. The St. Mike's / Tiger Bend sightings make the most sense as it looks like she may have been following Jones Creek towards the Amite River. However, she has been missing x 2 months so please report anything you see.
