In Louisiana, I don't really understand how this happens (staying single into 30s if you'd like a relationship). It's not hard to meet men who are interested in settling down. Many will say they don't want to settle, or that they're picky, but it doesn't seem to be the case. In most cases, there aren't exactly men beating their doors down.

I know two :

One is focused on "work" over relationships .

The other is in school for a second degree and masters .

Both are attractive , but have the characteristics of someone who would dominate a relationship . IWNHI

As a 37 year old man who has started dating again in the last couple years, I'll say that not all single women over 30 are crazy or have something wrong with them. I haven't found one yet that isn't a complete loon but they aren't all fricked up (crosses fingers).

I'm not saying everyone needs to get married at 21 & pop out kids. I didn't have any, either. I'm speaking from the small pool I know, not everyone. Most of the women I know who are single over 30 have expressed a desire to be in a relationship, but it hasn't happened for whatever reason.

That's the part I can't relate to. I've either been really fortunate or really unselective (perhaps a combo of both), but it hasn't been hard to meet men here. I'm sounding a lot more judgmental than I intend. I have no stake in this.

Not necessarily, but I know that most girls I've dated in the 28-30+ range are very pushy. They are wanting to get married after the 3rd date. The first date is like an interview: do you want to get married again, do you want more kids, what are you planning to do in 5 years, etc.? And I'm like, holy crap! I'm just trying to remember what her name is.

Yes.

Probably got 'jaded' by some man earlier in her dating life...when in reality it was her shite she was projecting onto her partner. Self-inflection is not a trait women are capable of.

Sure, you'll get the 'I want to focus on my career, blah blah blah types.' IMO, I think they use that as a wall to not wanting to get hurt and take the dive investing time into someone. And they probably have a good emotional release device as well.

33 and just started dating again myself. A lot of women looking for someone to fix their problems. Also, a lot of single women complaining about ken wanting to get married. It's just all that people know in Louisiana. As someone said in an earlier post, difference in big cities and Podunk cities

There is a market for women over 30 in DFW.

Hell most of them do have issues, but they still are pretty damn hot.

There may be a correlation though, the three I have went on dates that meet this criteria are all night shift nurses.

Meh probably not.

I know dozens of women that are single, have no kids, and are between 29-31 years old.

A lot of the are very attractive too. This isn't unusual in Nashville with all of the young transplants.

Some women just focus on career and/or want to stay single and party.

Boggle this up for now, we seem to be having a good discussion on 30+ single women right now.

I know a girl like this as well but she is in her 30s at this point. She has a normal dad but she has such a bitchy personality (and she's fat....like Melissa McCarthy fat) that no one wants to date her. It really is mind boggling

Then she's not cute. So the situations are nothing alike.

I'm sure there are tons of super fat single 30 year old women
