I am glad that FEMA pretty much told the people that were stupid enough to stay, frick you! You are on your own til whenever first responders can get to you.
I agree. frick em!!! Why should anyone else have to put their life on the line to rescue you for being a dumbass after being told to evacuate. It's not like the people in the Keys can't afford to travel with as expensive as it is to live there.

I agree that people are taking their lives in their own hands but to say "frick them" is a different game. I hope they make it through and don't need extra help, because on an island they will be the last to get it.

The last 3 days I was pretty much cursing the fools that stayed behind especially depending upon circumstances and resources. I have a few friends in law enforcement and city government in KW.
Today I found myself thanking them for checking on and giving me updates on my properties.
9/10 that stayed are basically idiots that had no business staying.
