I don't think it would have to be that quiet honestly for the roommates not to hear if they were passed out.

Definitely more than possible. Ted Bundy bludgeoned and beat women before strangling them to death at a FSU sorority house in the early morning hours of a Sunday.

Probably a little more noisy than stabbing a sleeping person.

I think we overestimate our own, and our neighbors’, abilities to hear shite. Look at the descriptions of Derrick Todd Lee’s home invasions…you’d swear someone would have heard those battles from a mile away.

I almost feel bad for the fat guy (and that poor jacket he's wearing, damn thing is stretched beyond repair). I mean, the motherfricker has had images and video of his fat arse hovering next to a food truck blasted out on National news.

Umm I actually did hear DLT force his way into Yoders house near East Boyd, as did several others. Didnt realize it until later what that scream actually was or where it was coming from.

Well I just watched the full food truck video.

1. They were intoxicated, but definitely not black out drunk or even close. Bar buzzed would be what I would say.

2. The guy in question is definitely with them.

But he seems pretty normal when he starts chatting with the heavy guy, laughing and cutting up. Strangely not talking with them much even though he is obviously with them. They stay a good while waiting on food. Then once they get it they walk away, he realizes they did and then follows close enough to them to seem to yell and to wave good night to them and head a different way.

Maybe just a friend or someone that was at the bar trying to flirt with them and then they split to go seperate ways after they got their food. Could have even been a Uber driver waiting on them and they just forgot about him.

About 10:50 is when they go their seperate ways.

Full video

That’s what I’m saying.

It doesn’t look like a guy stalking them about to murder them. Why join the crowd and cut up with random people?

Honestly looks like a drunk guy who got some flirt vibes from them. Walked a ways with them. Didn’t want to annoy them while they got food. Seems like they drunkenly forget about him. He tries to act all cool and talks to random people. They definitely forget about him as they walk off with their food. He tries to say good night to them. And just walks off.

Why do I get the feeling this is going to turn into a Netflix documentary?

They didn't have to be blacked out drunk to not wake up to the others being killed. Just be in a deep drunk sleep on a different floor with the doors closed.

A lot of the kids in shared apartments also sleep with ear pods.

Was def thinking it was the Uber driver waiting on them and then when they walked off said, “oh, well, I’m leaving. They can call someone else. I’m not waiting on them.”

Uber driver is new suspect #1… jk

But seriously idk how they haven’t made any updates today. Not sure how much more they will find out after autopsies. If it was a random/serial killer, I think they’re already escaped to Canada.

They don’t look like they have been to club. Look like two drunks that took Uber to get food.

Truck is parked in front of Garden Lounge by the background.

He is familiar with them but doesn’t act like he is close to them…driver would makes sense.

The way he waves hands when they walk off seems like he is saying wtf.

He goes toward them then away. Maybe they sat on curb to eat? Drunk girls aren’t waiting until they get home.

Odd thing is the direction he comes in (like from across the street with them or same time) then leaves toward another a different corner on same side of street.

I understand Ethan’s dad’s sentiment, but there’s a strong possibility the police still don’t know much more than 4 kids were butchered in the early morning.

I’d rather the police not flood the information-sphere with junk information , just for the sake of sharing information, which would just lead to panic and/or wild goose-chases.

Report says the two at food truck were at a bar. Likely ubered there and back.

Guy possibly thought he was taking them home..was waiting around (he didn’t get food)...then they went and jumped in an uber?? He went back to his car.

Is that one dude in a Joe Burrow Jersey?

The smaller girl in the black jacket is smashed. She shuffled her feet when she tried to stop in order to stand still, and has to lean against the truck while she waits.

tactical knives used by the Marines in the 1940s

I don't know if the Marines still use KA-BAR knives, but I was given one as a 50th Birthday gift. I've never attempted to kill anyone with it, but it certainly looks like it could do the job. It's a large, heavily bladed weapon. I swear, it must weigh 2 lbs. You could stun, if not kill, someone with the butt of the a KA-BAR. No blade necessary. But then again, they were designed as fighting knives for the USMC.

Does anyone know why the police are sure this is a targeted attack and not random??

If I had to bet money on it, if they’re using the word “sure,” they’re using it very loosely.

That being said, there are statistical odds at play and running the odds on factors including a) manner of entry, b) nature of the wounds, and other circumstantial factors probably highly suggest familiarity with the victims.
