A suspect who goes by the name "Iconic Facce" was arrested in Houston over the weekend in connection with a robbery charge out of Mississippi, according to police. Facce, a 37-year-old Alabama resident, is accused of robbing the BancorpSouth Bank in Gulfport, Mississippi, on March 22, according to police there. Facce was was booked into the Harris County Jail on Saturday, but it's unclear whether she's been extradited to Mississippi since then.

Her mugshot shows bandages around her nose, which her defense attorney said was related to "some type of surgery."

Police said they identified Facce as the suspect and learned that she was previously known as Jimmy Maurice Lewis, who was convicted in 2008 of a bank robbery in Alabama.

Facce was taken into custody at George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Saturday after returning from Mexico, police said. A Houston police officer in customs held her at 8:55 a.m. on the active robbery warrant, Houston police spokesman Kese Smith said.

Her court-appointed attorney, Cheryl Brown, said Facce arrived at the jail with the bandages on her face. She said she didn't have details about the surgery. She added that Facce was previously considered a male but now considers herself a female.
